　Plants play a fundamental role in providing humans with various living necessities, including tools and materials for food, clothing, and shelter, through the processes of storing and transferring solar energy. Resource plants are those plants, including wild, native, naturalized, and cultivated species, which have parts such as roots, stems, leaves, flowers, and fruits that can be beneficially utilized in human life. Resource plants serve as sources for the development of crops containing new functional substances, breeding of new varieties, and provision of materials with various pharmacological effects.
